Enceinte climatique ; Essais climatiquesThe climatic tests have, for a purpose, to age parts prematurely by subjecting them to various temperature conditions determined by different standards. The objective is to be able to certify new parts or new developments on existing parts. Therefore, we check the resistance and smooth operation of the equipment tested when subjected to extreme temperatures.

Cycles of heating / cooling may be accompanied by humidity in a climatic chamber.Ovens, on the other hand, can reach high temperatures. We also carry UV aging tests.

Aging cycles hot / cold / humidity

  • Maximum temperature: 180°C
  • Minimum temperature: -75°C
  • Maximum capacity of the climatic chambers: 2000l.

The climatic chambers also allow the installation of interface assemblies, developed within the Cetim-Cermat, to satisfy all types of set-ups and combinations for tests.

Examples:
  • Accelerated aging with fluid circulation
  • Combined tests: Climatic chamber on adapting shakers

Heating: Maximum temperature 250°C

Climatic test at high temperature and dry air
Ageing in hot air.

Thermal shock:

  • High Temperature: 180°C
  • Low temperature: -65°C
  • A shuttel travels between the two chambers that are at different temperatures. The maximum weight is 30 kg.

UV resistance:

    CI 3000+
  • Weather-O-meter
  • UV tests can prematurely age samples of materials (textile, composite, etc...) in cycles (day / night or phase of spray / dry) or continuously.

Example of standards

  • ISO 4892-2
  • D47 1431 (« Automotive testing »)
