Simulation and optimisation of injection processes/rheology (e.g. simulation by injection of polymers). Optimise the injection process to lead to substantial improvements. Two approaches are possible:

visu-1

The Calculation approach (rheological model)

This is intended to predict the result of injection of a part (dimensional aspects, shrinkage, etc.) in relation to various parameters such as distribution of cooling channels on the mould, different temperatures (on the injection screw, according to the co-ordinates in the mould, etc.), cycle times, etc., and optimise the result by acting virtually on injection cycle parameters (T°, p, speed, material, etc.)
After simulation, calculation allows for evaluation of cooling times, shrinkages and deformations of the casting.

optimisation-injectionThe calculation team comes in to provide support:
  • to industrialists in plasturgy in the tool design phase
  • within the scope of advanced assessments and failure analyses for injected parts.

The Process Approach:

Cetim-Cermat is in a position to intervene within the scope of a tailor-made service provision on any type of injection process.
