Failures (breakage, cracking, wear, etc.) are analysed daily within our materials centre. The first decisive stage is the preliminary inquiry, sometimes on site, in collaboration with the customer.

rupture-1Then the parts or samples are shipped to our laboratory to proceed with morphological analyses, fractographic examinations, micro-structural examinations, etc.To do so, we dispose of a scanning electron microscope and an optical microscope, etc. (see characterisation heading).

Non-Destructive Inspections (NDI), chemical analyses, mechanical tests, etc. can be added.
